Graduate entry medicine...qualified midwife

Thread Starter Graduate entry medicine...qualified midwife Follow 1 week ago 1w ago I am a qualified midwife currently working full time and looking to move to medicine. I've looked into the entry requirements and my degree and classification is fine for the unis I'm looking into, aware I need to do the UKCAT for them My issue is with work experience. I'm obviously working in healthcare but it is very specific to maternity care, I also volunteer in a mental health organisation doing referrals but I have no experience of other ward areas. The placements I have seen are mainly for school leavers for shadowing doctors and I'm way out of the age range 🙈 Has anyone had any experience applying to graduate entry medicine who's a trained nurse/midwife. How much work experience are they looking for and do they want a broad experience of different specialities. Any tips?
