How viable of an option is graduate medicine though? I don't know as much about it as I do about undergraduate medicine, other than that you must already have a degree, and that it's very expensive and there is little financial help.
I agree that GEM is hard, the competition ratio is virtually double that of undergraduate medicine. However there is definitely a lot of GEM applicants, judging by the activity of people asking questions on TSR!
