1. This manuscript presents the response of treatment with bone marrow aspirate concentrate in patients who had did not respond to nonsurgical treatments but did not want to undergo a joint replacement for mild hip or knee arthritis. More than 60% had a good response. Is this procedure something you are now routinely recommending, or do you have certain populations or patient characteristics that you find are better suited for this procedure?

Conclusions: CU modeling for RA increasingly reflects real-world conditions and patient experiences which are anticipated to provide better information in the assessment of health technologies. Future CU models in RA should consider applying the observed advances in modeling choices to optimize their CU predictions and simulation of real-world outcomes. Authors: Pardo E, Charca L, Alonso S, Alperi M, Arboleya L, Queiro R Abstract OBJECTIVES: The performance of many outcome measures for psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is almost unknown in real clinical practice. Our objective was to study the correlation and sensitivity to change of the Disease Activity in Psoriatic Arthritis (DAPSA) index and the Psoriatic Arthritis Impact of Disease (PsAID) questionnaire in a real practice setting. METHODS: This was a prospective, open, non-controlled study that included 60 consecutive patients with PsA treated with ustekinumab. Most had been previously treated with one or more bio...

CONCLUSIONS: All bDMARDs showed higher ACR20 response rates and better HAQ-DI mean reduction compared to placebo. This meta-analysis highlights the variability of bDMARD efficacy on ACR50/70, PASI75/90 and enthesitis or dactylitis response rates. Head-to-head studies are needed to draw definitive conclusions on potential efficacy-related differences between bDMARDs in PsA. PMID: 31969228 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

CONCLUSIONS: ABT treatment significantly affected IFN-γ and CXCL10 cytokine levels in vitro. In addition, serum CXCL10 levels were associated with better responses in ABT treatment. PMID: 31969227 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

CONCLUSIONS: TAK does co-occur with IBD, AS and less frequently with BS in about 1/5 of the patients, at least in a hospital setting. There is no clear temporal pattern. The high prevalence of inflammatory back pain in the dorsal spine in TAK needs further scrutiny. PMID: 31969224 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

CONCLUSIONS: In RA patients treated with TCZ in perfusion, the rate of surgical complications was low: 8.6%. The median time between surgery and last infusion was relatively short according to half-life of TCZ but did not influence the rate of postoperative complications.
