A Brain-Computer Interface For Motor Rehabilitation Of Chronic Stroke Patients

To investigate if a BCI system controlling an avatar and functional electrical stimulation (FES) providing visual and proprioceptive feedback, facilitates functional improvement after stroke. When the feedback is timely sent to CNS according to the motor intention with multiple training sessions, the neuronal network in the brain is reorganized due to the neuroplasticity.
