Isolated aortic interruption complicated by type B aortic dissection: A rare case of “double trouble”
A 36-year-old, previously asymptomatic male with no history of previous trauma or intervention, presented to emergency with acute tearing chest pain radiating to back. Preliminary investigations including ECG and cardiac bio-markers were within normal limits. The patient subsequently underwent a computed tomography angiography (CTA) of the chest and abdomen to establish the diagnosis.
