Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Hard Palate: A 6-Year Follow-Up

Pleomorphic adenoma or benign mixed tumor is a neoplasia of salivary glands with the highest incidence. A 15-year-old female patient, hemodynamically stable, complaining of “pain and tumor on the hard palate,” clinically presented with a tumor in the hard palate extending to the soft palate of the left side, in the region of tooth 25 to 28, extending to the palatine raphe. An occlusal radiograph of the maxilla was obtained, but no remarkable changes were noted. The patient later underwent fine needle aspiration with negative results for liquid content.
