Complementary medicines are not always complimentary in Down syndrome
Complementary and alternative medicines are taken by both adult and pediatric patients. Use of these products is commonplace, roughly 1 in 3 or more, among children with cancer, infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and many other conditions. Is usage similar in children with genetic syndromes, such as Down syndrome?
