Effect of Phacoemulsification on Visual Acuity and Macular Morphology in Patients with Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration.

CONCLUSIONS Phacoemulsification performed in eyes with wet age-related macular degeneration during the inactive phase of the disease significantly improves visual acuity.
