Nurse wages rise across the region with UC, Kaiser, Dignity Health contracts

With University of California nurses voting on a new contract this week, three out of four of the region's major health systems appear poised to give nurses major raises. About 2,800 nurses employed locally by the UC Davis Medical Center and affiliated clinics are set to vote on a five-year contract that includes a 15 percent wage increase this week.
