Water Test Results Not Privileged, Magistrate Rules; Protective Order Denied

GREENVILLE, Miss. - A magistrate judge on Aug. 28 denied a motion for a protective order sought by a company sued for groundwater contamination, ruling that test data gathered by the University of Oklahoma was not privileged and, therefore, the plaintiffs' counsel was entitled to see it (Joe E. Sledge, et al. v. Meritor Inc., et al., No. 16-CV-053, N.D. Miss.).
