Judge Seals Unused Documents Following Glyphosate Verdict Against Monsanto

SAN FRANCISCO - A California state court judge on Aug. 29 granted a motion by Monsanto Co. to extend time or seal documents that were not used in the trial that led to an award of $289,254,882.32 in damages to a man who said his repeated exposure to glyphosate, the active ingredient in the herbicide Roundup, caused his cancer (DeWayne Johnson v. Monsanto Company, No. CGC 16550128, Calif. Super., San Francisco Co.).
