Vitamin D insufficiency, hemoglobin, and anemia in children with chronic kidney disease
ConclusionsThe data support our hypothesis that vitamin D insufficiency/deficiency increases the odds of anemia in children with CKD. The effect was strong and significant among white, but not black, children.
