Upstate New York maintains low uninsured rates

Upstate New York continues to lead the state — and the nation — when it comes to the total number of uninsured individuals, according to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau and an analysis of that data by Univera Healthcare. The eight-county Western New York region maintained an uninsured rate of 3.7 percent, with Upstate holding at 4 pe rcent.
