Erie County law enforcement gets $1.6M for crisis intervention training

Crisis Services will provide training for law enforcement across Erie County via federal funding. The five-year, $1.65 million grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration will fund crisis intervention training (CIT) for law enforcement personnel on how to interact with individuals with mental health disorders.
