The effects of obesity on male fertility
Men with a higher body mass index (BMI) may experience testosterone (T) to estradiol (E2) conversion leading to possible infertility. Although men with elevated BMI may have abnormal hormonal profiles (HP), it has been hypothesized that men with elevated BMI may present with infertility for reasons other than T to E2 conversion.
