A comparison of intrauterine insemination (IUI) versus in vitro fertilization (IVF) in the era of pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A): an analysis of efficacy and cost

Ovulation Induction with IUI is a common first step in the treatment of infertility given its lower cost and ease of implementation compared to IVF. Disadvantages include lower pregnancy rates and thus longer time to conception. PGT-A provides the advantage of lower miscarriage rates (SAB). We sought to compare the pregnancy outcomes and cost per cycle of IUI and IVF/ PGT-A.
