The use of splenic artery embolization to maintain adequate hepatic arterial inflow after hepatic artery thrombosis in a split liver transplant recipient

ConclusionSplenic artery steal syndrome is a rare complication that can occur after a liver transplant. Experience with this phenomenon is limited in split liver transplantation.We demonstrated successful early management of splenic artery steal syndrome with coil embolization in a split liver transplant preventing further morbidity and graft loss.
