Synergistic Reduction of Apoptosis with Diazoxide and Erythropoietin in Spinal Cord Ischemic Injury.

CONCLUSIONS: Optimized upregulation of bcR by DZ can increase the extrinsic anti-apoptotic effects of EPO. Better understanding of this synergetic mechanism may serve to help prevent ischemic complications caused by aortic intervention.
