Towards Realising National Research Strategies: Culture, Collaboration and Courage

Research is arguably the most important domain of advanced practice in order to gain professional respect and strengthen the radiography profession. However, it can be the most challenging domain to evidence. A UK audit in 2015 illuminated that research activity is low in radiography. Following the publication of the latest research strategy from the Society and College of Radiographers, and in light of the new Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) research strategy from the National Institute for Health Research, it is necessary to understand the progress being made towards delivering these strategies in practice.
