Endoscopic or Surgical Resection for Gastro-Esophageal Cancer.

CONCLUSION: Borderline cases between endoscopic and surgical resection of early carcinoma of the esophagus or stomach must be managed with an interdisciplinary treatment algorithm. If there is a risk of lymph node metastasis, surgical oncological resection is indicated.
