Undifferentiated Endometrial Carcinomas: Clinicopathologic Characteristics and Treatment Outcomes

Conclusions Our data are consistent with prior studies demonstrating that UEC represents a rare clinical entity characterized by high rates of locally advanced disease at presentation. However, survival outcomes appear to be comparable to other high-grade endometrial cancers. Further studies investigating optimal adjuvant therapy in these patients are warranted.

Conclusion: Omental metastases occur too often to omit omentectomy during surgical procedures for non-ECC regardless of histological subtypes, and visual assessment is insufficient in recognizing the often occult metastases. Conclusion A positive correlation between the markers CD133 and Oct4 and the tumor stage was observed, indicating that CD133 and Oct4 may be used as significant prognostic markers. Further studies with larger sample sizes and follow-up data of longer intervals are recommended.

Conclusion Clinicians should be aware of the coexistence of uterine malignancies and uterine anomalies in patients presenting with persistent abnormal uterine bleeding, but with negative endometrial biopsy or failed in the operation of endometrial biopsy.
