Impact of preoperative body mass index on postoperative co-morbidity remission in super-obese patients undergoing bariatric surgery
We read with great interest the article by Hariri et al [1]. This retrospective study interestingly explored the impact of preoperative body mass index (BMI) on postoperative co-morbidity remission in super-obese patients undergoing bariatric surgery and found that preoperative BMI did not have an impact on postoperative co-morbidity remission rates or percent total weight loss.
