Using AI, Facebook teams with NYU in effort to speed up MRI scans
Facebook Inc. said it's teaming with New York University in an effort to use artificial intelligence to speed up magnetic resonance imaging scans.
Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) said its Facebook Artificial Intelligence Research (FAIR) team will work the NYU's School of Medicine’s Department of Radiology on a project that could make MRI scans up to 10 times faster.
If successful, Facebook said "it will make MRI technology available to more people. "
