Low back pain is a highly prevalent condition, causing considerable disability and burden globally.19 Up to 70% of people will experience low back pain during their lifetime.54 Patients with low back-related leg pain, such as sciatica, experience intense radiating leg pain that may be accompanied by neurological signs20 and both low back pain and sciatica are associated with high healthcare costs, work absenteeism, and economic burden.19,53
