Increased Expression of CD81 in Breast Cancer Tissue is Associated with Reduced Patient Prognosis and Increased Cell Migration and Proliferation in MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-435S Human Breast Cancer Cell Lines In Vitro.
CONCLUSIONS The findings of the study showed that CD81 might be a potential prognostic biomarker associated with poor patient prognosis in breast cancer. These findings should be investigated further with large-scale controlled prospective studies in patients with breast cancer.
