Scoring of methods indices

Better description of interventions is important to improve replication in clinical practice and reduce waste in research so the development of the Template for Intervention Description and Replication (TIDieR) has been welcomed. Yamato et  al. now propose a method based on Rasch analysis construct a score to provide an overall summary number to reflect the multiple components in the checklist, that if it is shown to work on other datasets, will be useful for decision-makers.
