What it means ‘to teach’ as a radiologist in the modern era: a personal perspective

AbstractWhether employed in a private practice, a community or academic setting, or even a hybrid practice, radiologists fill many roles in the course of a day. Teaching is one of the most important roles in the dissemination of knowledge and the continued renewal of the health, vibrancy and advancement of our field. In this article the author reviews some of the various facets of what radiology teaching and learning look like in the current era. Highlighted topics include workstation teaching, workshop and small group education, interdisciplinary activities and mentorship.
