Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, and Mortality after Hemodialysis Initiation.
CONCLUSIONS: Older patients on hemodialysis are at substantial risk of diagnosis with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and carrying these diagnoses is associated with a twofold higher mortality.
