EPA says its asbestos proposal would increase regulation
A new Trump administration policy that could allow manufacturers to use asbestos in their products is facing increased scrutiny. The proposed rule was announced this summer as part of a regulatory overhaul at the Environmental Protection Agency. It would require EPA approval to use or import the known carcinogen.
