Flint Plaintiffs: Census Order Would 'Undermine' Class Members' Rights

DETROIT - The plaintiffs in the Flint lead-contaminated water crisis litigation on July 23 filed a brief in Michigan federal court arguing that an order proposed by co-liaison counsel for the collection of data regarding potential claimants in the litigation "places an unreasonable and unnecessary burden on absent class members for little benefit" (In re Flint Water Cases [Luke Waid, et al. v. Richard D. Snyder, et al.], No. 16-10444, E.D. Mich.).
