Empress EMS to Be Featured in 'Nightwatch Nation,' Premiering Thursday, August 16 at 10pm ET/PT on A & E

Yonkers, NY–A&E Network’s hit series goes deeper with “Nightwatch Nation,” a new nonfiction series from executive producer Dick Wolf and 44 Blue Productions. The series follows EMTs and paramedics from Empress EMS in Yonkers, New York, and three other cities across the country.  Real-life heroes risk their lives to work the busiest and most unnerving shift of the day, the overnight. “Nightwatch Nation” premieres Thursday, August 16 at 10pm ET/PT. Over ten episodes, the EMTs and paramedics tackle emergencies on every level, bringing viewers along for the ride while also experiencing the high intensity environment of the call centers. Cameras capture medics and EMTs in action as they treat traumas, active stroke, overdose and other victims.   Empress EMS Assistant Director of Operations, Michael Blecker coordinated camera and EMS crews during filming.  “We were proud to be selected from many potential agencies to participate in the filming of Nightwatch Nation.   Everyday people don’t know what a paramedic or EMT does during regular operations, especially once the sun goes down.   In my opinion, our crews are some of the best in the industry and we’re proud to be able to show that to the rest of the country”.
