New emerging research suggests Montmorency tart cherries may help enhance gut health
(Weber Shandwick Chicago) Montmorency tart cherries may play a role in improving gut health, suggests a first-of-its kind human trial of nine adults combined with a parallel laboratory study published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry. An international team of scientists found that Montmorency tart cherries helped to positively impact the gut microbiome -- a collection of trillions of bacteria and other microbes that live in the intestinal tract.
