This article in anesthesiology news shows how physicians are their own worst enemies. This is a family practitioner who is advocating making anesthesiology a nursing field and who feels entitled to opine on our specialty and spread political propaganda. Very sad in my opinion. Let advanced practice nurses do what they’re trained to do Here’s what readers are saying in Saturday’s letters to the editor. www.tampabay.com

Authors: Abstract This Committee Opinion provides guidance on the current uses of hysteroscopy in the office and the operating room for the diagnosis and treatment of intrauterine pathology and the potential associated complications. General considerations for the use of diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy include managing distending media, timing for optimal visualization, and cervical preparations. In premenopausal women with regular menstrual cycles, the optimal timing for diagnostic hysteroscopy is during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle after menstruation. They both seem pretty well supported by the administration and have pretty strong rotations (Columbia wins on peds, I know I know). Sinai definitely has a great PD, better moonlighting/scheduling/focus on resident wellness. NYU has a more fun location, better hours (as confirmed by some conversations with current residents), more... 2020 Rank List: NYU vs Sinai

Have any of you Democrats/Liberals/Bernie Bros considered the implication of electing Sanders as President? Do you know what he will do to this specialty? Before any of you post ridiculous comments about how the world comes first or "greater good" theory the vast majority of unions and Democrats decide to vote for candidates that help their cause, keep their jobs and pass laws helping them. This is true for auto workers, culinary workers in Vegas, coal miners, fishermen, etc. This... President Bernie Sanders

ConclusionsFor the first time in humans, the present data show direct evidence in favour of a distributed system of connections from the posterior parietal cortex to the ipsilateral primary motor cortex. In addition, we show that dual cortical stimulation is a novel and efficient technique to investigate intraoperative brain connectivity in the anaesthetized patient.
