Most unis are highly reluctant to consider resits, although it might be ok if you took it in the 2 year window.
Dont underestimate how much more difficult it is to do GEM than undergraduate medicine. If My highers were sufficient then I would take a gap and reapply. If not then you will have no choice but GEM.
