NCDHHS awards $17M contract ahead of Medicaid reform
On Friday, N.C. Department of Health and Human Services said it has signed a $17 million contract with Reston, Virginia-based Maximus for managed care enrollment broker services.
The deal with the government services agency comes ahead of the state's Medicaid reform next year, which will go from a Medicaid fee-for-service model to a managed care model, and is the first procurement contract award to aid in the transition.
