Transcatheter closure of atrial septal communication: impact on P-wave dispersion, duration and arrhythmia in mid-term follow-up.

CONCLUSIONS: Percutaneous closure of ASC is associated with reduction of PWD and arrhythmia episodes 6 months after the procedure. PWD predicts atrial fibrillation episodes after ASD closure.
