Optimal asymmetric thread for orthodontic microimplants: Laboratory and clinical evaluation.

Conclusions: The better performances of the experimental microimplant, under both laboratory and clinical conditions (although statistically insignificant in the latter), demonstrate the superiority of the new asymmetric thread.
