Mapping of magnetic particles in the human brain

(Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit ä t M ü nchen) LMU researchers have for the first time mapped the distribution of magnetic particles in the human brain. The study reveals that the particles are primarily located in the cerebellum and the brainstem, which are the more ancient parts of the brain.
