CoolSculpting Receives FDA Clearance for Double Chin

Just before the holidays, Allergan announced that theCoolSculpting® treatment had become the first and only non-surgical fat reduction technology to be FDA-cleared for improved appearance of lax tissue in conjunction with submental fat, or " double chin. "CoolSculpting for double chin is already clinically proven to reduce fat up to 20 percent in the treated area after one treatment. An 18-week clinical study of CoolSculpting in submental fat treatment found that 77 percent of patients showed improved appearance of lax tissue and 75 percent of patients reported their chin looked more toned following treatment.1Dr. Hamori has been offeringCoolSculpting treatments in the Skin Spa since 2011, when she was the first to bring this great new technology to Boston ’s South Shore. Initially developed to permanently reduce stubborn belly fat from the mid section and “love handles,” some advances since then include “DualSculpting” — booking two CoolSculpting machines in one session for twice the results — as well as the development of the special C oolSculpting “Mini” applicator which makes the “double chin” treatments possible.See our web page onCoolSculpting for more information on the latest news in non-surgical fat reduction, or call us to learn more at (781) 934-2200.Christine Hamori Cosmetic Surgery + Skin Spa95 Tremont Street, Suite 28, Duxbury, Massachusetts, 02332Call us:781-934-2200Serving Boston's...

AbstractThe one of the preprocessing step for hyperspectral imagery is noise reduction. The images are received by the detector and this can be degraded by several factors like atmospherical things and device noises which emit temperature noise, processing noise and explosion noise. There are several strategies are developed already to cut back the signal to noise magnitude relation of the hyperspectral image. However, the stationary noise of the many denoising ways developed cannot be applied on to the gauge boson noise. Thus, the each gauge boson and thermal noise square measure gift within the captured hyperspectral ima...

Conclusions: We found that older adults living in social (public) housing properties, specifically women, may be at higher risk of asthma when exposed to mouldy odour, which has a number of implications for policy makers and practitioners working in the health and housing sector. Additional measures should be put in place to protect older people living in social housing against indoor damp and mould contamination.
