Semicarbazide-sensitive amine oxidase activity levels in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia after cytotoxic chemotherapy
ConclusionThe decrease in SSAO activities after chemotherapy could be a mechanism for preventing the formation of the pro-inflammatory byproducts of SSAO. The increase in liver function could be a response to chemotherapy metabolism in liver cells.
