ConclusionsAmong patients presenting with ACS, switching from one P2Y12I agent to another in the acute phase seems associated with a short-term increased risk of bleeding. Accurate upfront selection and prescription of a P2Y12I based on ischemic and bleeding risks is paramount to avoid adverse events switching-related during hospitalization and in the first 30 days.

ConclusionWith the current paucity of high level evidence regarding the management approach for Bouveret's syndrome, the gold standard management algorithm is yet to be developed. Management approach should be tailor ‐made with an appropriate choice of treatment based on patient’s clinical presentation, comorbidities and expertise availability. Surgical approach should be considered if endoscopic treatment not feasible or failed. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
