Company Sued For Lead Injuries In Peru Seeks Determination Of Foreign Law

ST. LOUIS - Doe Run Resources Corp., which has been sued by Peruvian nationals who allege that they were injured as a result of exposure to lead and other toxic substances at a plant operated by the company, on Sept. 16 filed a brief in a Missouri federal court arguing that it should grant the company's motion for a determination of foreign law (Sister Kate Reid, et al. v. Doe Run Resources Corporation, No. 11-00044, E.D. Mo.).
