CONCLUSIONS AND SCIENTIFIC SIGNIFICANCE: Early opioid withdrawal changes may be a useful indicator of treatment response, helping adjust the transition protocol to the individual patients' need and gather valuable information for a better understanding of the relationship between initiating and remaining in treatment.
