Akitvax gets big U.S. contract, will move to Broomfield and nearly triple in staff size

A Colorado medical device company said it's received a big government contract, and because of that contract, it's moving from Boulder to Broomfield and adding staff. Aktivax, which makes drug delivery systems, said it's received a $15 million contract from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Agency (BARDA) to continue development of its auto-injector platform ARAI drug delivery system.
