Pappas Capital settles defamation suit against former Chimerix CEO
Pappas Capital has settled a defamation lawsuit filed against former Chimerix CEO Kenneth Moch.
The suit was filed back in 2015, following Moch’s resignation from Durham-based biopharma Chimerix, a Pappas portfolio company, the year prior. Moch’s resignation came amid national attention to Chimerix’s refusal to provide its drug under development to a young cancer patient.
