More than the prostate: Intrapancreatic accessory spleen and papillary thyroid cancer detected with 18F-PSMA PET/CT.

CONCLUSION: This is the first case to our knowledge describing both such lesions in one patient and the first case describing the use of 2-(3-{1-carboxy-5-[(6-[18F]fluoro-pyridine-3-carbonyl)-amino]-pentyl}-ureido)-pentanedioic acid (18F-DCFPyL)-PSMA PET/CT to detect IPAS. In this study, resveratrol was successfully encapsulated using zein-chitosan complex coacervation. The encapsulation efficiency was markedly improved (51.4%) after chitosan coating at 1:2.5 zein/chitosan ratio, compared with 38.6% using native zein. Conclusion: Our study highlights the importance of epigenetic deregulation in NPC. A novel genomic region on 6p with aberrant methylation was identified. This region contains several important genes that have great potential to be used as biomarkers for NPC early detection.
