Illinois employee benefit company files suit against Teladoc for overcharges, tortious interference

Key Benefit Administrators (KBA), an Illinois-based administrator of self-funded employee welfare benefit plans for enterprises, has brought a lawsuit against Teladoc alleging a breach in obligations, pecuniary loss, defamation, and tortious interference all stemming from $450,000 in overcharges. In a statement to MobiHealthNews, Teladoc said that it was “optimistic” that this dispute could be resolved, and suggested that the suit could potentially be settled out of court.
