‘Cervical spine fractures associated with maxillofacial trauma: a 3-year-long study in the greek population’

Maxillofacial fractures occur frequently in severely injured patients, sometimes concomitantly with serious or life-threatening injuries, the knowledge of which is essential for prompt assessment and treatment. Thus, a multidisciplinary and coordinated approach is important for optimal stabilization and ongoing treatment of multi-trauma patients with maxillofacial fractures (Alvi et al., 2003).
