The effect of intrathecal injection of irisin on pain threshold and expression rate of GABAB receptors in peripheral neuropathic pain model

ConclusionThe findings of the present study showed that acute administration of Irisin increases the pain threshold, but the chronic injection of resin does not have an effect on pain reduction and the expression of GABA receptors and it seems that this peptide is not a proper replacement for exercise in patients with neuropathic pain, who cannot exercise.
