Bilateral Keratoconus Induced by Secondary Hypothyroidism After Radioactive Iodine Therapy

Although the mechanism in which thyroid gland dysfunction affects keratoconus is not known, evidence is mounting that an association exists between thyroid hormone alterations and keratoconus disease progression.
